We’ve all been on a summer Holiday……………

There have been a lot of trips and holidays over the last few months for the people we support.  Tom has spent three weeks in Seattle with his mum and his Support Worker visiting friends and visiting lots of amazing places.  One of the highlights was going on a boat trip whale watching!  Tom got to see a humpback whale.

Ben and Steve have been in Orlando visiting Disney World and having a wonderful time with his two support workers. No doubt ‘thrills and spills’ were the order of the day, but this trip has been planned a long time so I’m sure excitement levels were high.

Lynne stayed in Kielder with the Calvert trust in July for 5 days, The Calvert trust is an activity holiday provider who specialise in holidays for people with disabilities. Lynne was sent a video of the accommodation before she booked it so she could see all the equipment they had that she would need. Whilst she was there, she enjoyed time by the lake, walks with her support worker and a lovely meal at the pub.

Also, this summer Russell went to Butlins at Skegness for a week and had a great time as the British weather was kind and there are plenty of things to do at Butlins. Gary recently went to Edinburgh Zoo for the weekend and we have all seen some of his photos which he has put in a photo album.  The weather was kind to Blayne too, who had a stay in the log cabins at Cropton where Blayne’s favourite activity was the hot tub!  There was also a very busy adventure trip for Ashley, Toby, Kris and Steve in Norfolk.  They packed so much into their holiday including archery, rifle range, crazy golf, museums and many other adventures.

Hope you enjoy the photo selection of these trips!
