Dave’s journey with Acorn started in 2010, first as a support worker, then rising through roles to become Registered Manager and now Head of Services. He leads with professionalism and warmth, ensuring that our supported living and regulated services consistently meet and exceed expectations.
He holds strong relationships with local authorities and the CQC and guides our frontline managers to deliver services that genuinely make a difference.
Alongside his operational responsibilities, Dave is also our resident tech expert. When systems misbehave or devices go rogue, he steps in as our unofficial Head of IT — troubleshooting laptops, printers and tablets with the same patience and focus he brings to care. He’s the calm in the tech storm and always ready to lend a hand.
