Admin & Marketing Manager
I joined Acorn Community Care in February 2022. I heard through a volunteer at Acorn that an Admin Role was available so thought I would go and see what the job and Acorn was all about. I am so glad that I did and after just a few hours there I knew I wanted to take the role.
Since then, the role has grown so much and each day is different to the next. I love the fact that I am not just stuck in an office away from the core of the business and I am very much involved in the day to day life at Acorn. It’s hard to describe the concept of Acorn without smiling, it is such a happy place. I feel that I have been introduced to care and support for adults with learning disabilities at its absolute best.
