At Acorn Farm we have about 50 chickens.  The breeds are Jersey Giants, Araucanas, Ayam Cemanis, Seramas, Silkie’s and Bantams.  The Ayam Cemani’s have black feathers, skin and eyes.  Even their flesh and bones are black.  The Araucana’s have lavender grey coloured feathers and lay blue eggs.  We always have plenty of fresh eggs here at Acorn Farm but the chickens need an awful lot of corn to keep them fit and healthy for laying.  If you would like to help with our chicken’s upkeep please visit the donate page
